If you are looking for a healthier alternative to any flour based items you might be cooking this Thanksgiving, Royal Lee Organics has a wonderful lineup of organic sprouted grains that you can use to create your own flour. Grinding your own flour allows you to know exactly what is going into your flour and since you are doing it you don’t have to worry about it being chemically treated so that is can maintain a longer shelf life. The benefits of using sprouted grains over a whole grain is that they are easier to digest than unsprouted grains and are lower on the glycemic index, which makes them more agreeable to anyone with blood sugar level concerns, they have a higher vitamin content and the sprouting process releases the enzymes, vitamins and minerals within the grain and makes them more easily assimilated. If you want to make a loaf of warm homemade bread this Thanksgiving, visit: Royal Lee Organics.
