Dust to Gold was the theme of the night at the Grand Opening –  Phase 1 of the Palms Casino & Resort in Las Vegas. Guests were treated to decadent dining and cocktails in one of the most extravagant renovations in Las Vegas.

Palms Casino & Resort has created an opulence that is unparalleled and unique in its ability to present an abundance of creativity including artwork by Adam Parker Smith’s installation PALMS, Olivia Steele and Keegan Gibbs’ collaboration of front desk décor WISH YOU WERE HERE, and Unknown Bar, in the center of the casino, by artist Damien Hirst. Luxury and lavishness surround the new CAMDEN Cocktail Lounge, APEX Social Club, and SCOTCH 80 Prime Restaurant.

SCOTCH 80 Prime restaurant is home to Executive Chef Barry S. Dakake, where you can enjoy a spectacular tableside presentation of Mesquite Fired Crustacean Tower Maine lobster, New Bedford sea scallops, Alaskan king crab, Steamed New England Little Neck Clams and Mexican shrimp topped with scampi butter for a remarkable display of fire highlights and gourmet feasting. Don’t forget to enhance your dining experience with a bottle of Dom Perignon and some of the best caviar including American Paddlefish and Golden Osetra.

SCOTCH 80 Prime main course dishes range from Dover Sole, Colorado Lamb Chops, to Prime Aged Steaks and pasture raised Wagyu. Features also include A5 Japanese Kobe New York Strip Loin cooked to perfection, accompanied with fresh truffles, Basquiat & Warhol, or baked-aged cheddar GratineMac & Cheese. A must-have finish comprises a Tableside Fire & Ice Banana Split dessert with hand-turned vanilla bean ice cream, caramelized bananas, and magical, fun toppings.

Cody Fredrickson, Master of Scotch, will guide beginners and experts through your extravagant dining experience by pairing it with some of the most notable Scotch available which includes Auchentoshan 12 year Scotch, Blandnoch 15 year Scotch, and Littlemill 1991; 23 Year – Gordon & Macphail.

CAMDEN Cocktails

Eric Hobble is the lead mixologist of CAMDEN cocktail lounge. CAMDEN arranges for a reviving, yet refined experience that spotlights unique craft cocktails, where guests can enjoy tableside mixology, and urbane music by some of the best local and national DJs. Some must have cocktails include SGROPPINO 2 WAYS, Lost in the Forest, and Magic Show. Other Libations include the Venice Girl: Belvedere citrus, strawberry & vanilla gomme, lime, and basil and Sorbetto & Bubbles: Casamigos Blanco, St. Germain, lemon sorbet, raspberry sorbet & Rose Champagne. It is appropriately located at the front of the casino nearside gaming tables and slots.

APEX Social Club located on the picturesque 55th floor is an 8,000-square-foot-space that lends itself to a spectacular 360-degree panoramic view of the iconic Las Vegas strip. As the sun sets, the outdoor patio transforms into an alfresco social club featuring Blink 182’s Travis Barker on its grand opening May 27thDJ Stretch and DJ Spider will be along to shake down the house, above the shimmering lights and grandeur of Las Vegas.

Lucky Penny is one of Palms Casino Resort’s newest dining destinations which highlights great breakfast bites including smoked salmon. Other menu features include an array of soups, salads, pizzas, sandwiches, boozy shakes, dinner entrees and a selection of healthy favorites. Guests can also choose from an array of cocktails and champagne, mimosas, hibiscus, and Bellini’s.

Executive Chef Mo

Led by Executive Chef Francis Mo, Send NOODLE, this newly Asian-inspired concept adds a lively setting featuring influences from Mandarin, Cantonese, Szechuan, Japanese, Korean and Thai cuisines as well as creative takes on American and Italian classics using Asian ingredients.

Palms Place Pool is the place to be after a night of dining and decadence. Located on the 6th floor, Palms Place Pool is a 50,000-square-foot oasis complete with stellar cabanas that include 32” flat screen TV, posh couches, and personal cabana host. On-water lily pads provide guests with plush sofas for a chance to escape to a world of revitalizing relaxation. A long list of poolside bites, salads, and snacks are available along with refreshing cocktails including the Summer Colada and Raspberry Frozen Mule. The pool offers contemporary design with spa-inspired elements including stone gardens, a Jacuzzi, a stone fireplace, tropical flowers, and Zen-inspired waterfalls.
