National Hot Toddy Day, on January 11, is the perfect day to create the Buchanelazo, made with Buchanan’s Whisky DeLuxe, and a delicious cinnamon tea. A hot variation of the whisky sour, this sweet, spiced cocktail is a great way to get cozy, host a ‘bring your own mug’ party or spice up a night in with a movie and your comfiest outfit.

INGREDIENTS
· 1.5 oz Buchanan’s DeLuxe Whisky
· 4 oz Hot Cinnamon tea
· 1 tbsp of brown sugar
· 0.25 oz lemon juice
PREPARATION
1. To make the tea, boil a cup of water with 3 cinnamon sticks.
2. Dissolve the sugar in the tea and add lemon juice after boiling.
3. Pour Buchanan’s DeLuxe in a glass mug, add the tea and garnish with cinnamon stick and lime wheel.
